After learning the IT tools of the trade at Siemens AG, I moved to the Leipzig Fire Department in 2009 to develop the control centre IT division. After setting up an integrated regional control centre and its IT operations and KRITIS protection, I expanded my area of responsibility to include IT operations for the entire Leipzig Fire Department. This IT operation is ensured by a total of 10 IT engineers.
