About Dr. Nils Grupe
Dr. Nils Grupe completed his master's degree in electrical engineering (specializing in communications engineering) at the TU Braunschweig in 2014 and successfully completed his doctorate there in 2023 in the field of radio channel prediction for dynamic radio networks (car-to-car communication). He simulated and evaluated the exchange of messages between vehicles in highly complex, realistic scenarios. Mr. Grupe has relevant experience in the field of radio network planning for cellular networks (TETRA, LTE, 5G). For 3 years he has been developing and evaluating innovative radio solutions for future markets in his role as Technical Solutions Expert at HMF Smart Solutions GmbH in the Hanover area. These include private 5G networks, mioty-based IoT radio solutions and AI-based approaches for anomaly detection and predictive maintenance in classic TETRA radio networks.
